If you drive along the jewel-like coastal road course from Busan on the eastern side of the Korean peninsula to Suncheon, Jeolla Province, located on the western side, you will find Yeosu which has famous sites of Admiral Yi Sun-shin’s successful battles against the Japanese during the Joseon Dynasty. You will also discover Suncheon Bay, which is one of the world’s five wetlands. Yeosu, which is more known as a romantic city for Korean lovers due to the popular Korean song, "Yeosu Night Sea," offers various experiences. Suncheonman Bay allows visitors time to "heal their minds" by experiencing the different landscapes of all four seasons, is also a quintessential location for both Korean and global eco-tourism.
